Meet the Artist

Hello and welcome to WAF Designs. Here is a little bit about me and how my small business began.

I have filled numerous sketchbooks with my dress designs since I was a young girl. Following my passion after high school, I graduated with a Fashion Design and Merchandising degree.

Since graduating I continue to find love in creating with textiles, but as I have evolved and my passion has evolved over time I have found my love to create art by embroidering by hand. It expresses my creativity and love for nature with high quality fibers adding unique texture and finish to each piece.

Each piece is made with either or a combination of cotton, silk, and wool. Also, making each art piece even more special, the fabric they are embroidered on are extra pieces from my mother’s quilting projects.

 While, the majority of my shop items will be embroidery, I will still create some of my items via sewing or crocheting on occasion, as they are still very much part of my creative journey.
